In collaboration with our partner in India, PROMAN INFRAESTRUCTURES SERVICES PVT LTD (Bangalore), SOTECMA receives the first order to supply a dry mortar manufacturing plant in Bombay.
The new company ALCCOTECH BUILDING MATERIALS PVT LTD, group member of the ALCON (Goa).This industrial group is manufacturer of cement, ready-mix concrete and precast concrete among many other business lines. Thanks to the PROMAN INFRAESTRUCTURES support, ALCOCOTECH will have a new dry mortar plant, using different raw materials like cement, slag, fly ash, and several size fractions sand. The installation of the plant to be supplied will take place in Mumbai. The first phase, masonry and plastering will be manufactured. Subsequently cement adhesives and technical and repair mortars will be supplied. The products will be supplied by bags, but the plant is ready to supply the products in big-bags or bulk. The total capacity of the plant is 30 TPH.
With this new order, the first SOTECMA plant will be born in Asia, specifically in India, where strong growth in housing construction is expected in a country that has more than one billion people. In this year alone, more than 7 million children were born, so we believe that it has great potential and a main market for the use of dry mortar. This will be the first plant in India, but it is included in a strategic implementation plan throughout the country.
